I am a freelance translator. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Linguistic Mediation at the SSML Centro Masterly in Palermo, where I studied interpreting and translation for the English and French languages.

Born and raised in Uruguay, Emiliano is a translator, subtitler and history buff who loves languages, reading and writing.

Fiona excavated, travelled and worked as a guide in the Middle East for over 20 years. Specialist and author of two books on Egyptian Scarab Seals, she founded Timeless Travels Magazine in 2014. She was awarded journalist of the Year 2018 & 2020.

I grew up in Egypt, moved to New Zealand with my kiwi wife and lived there about 10 years. We then decided to make the move to the UK with our 3 kids and are now enjoying the North Yorkshire lifestyle. I studied as a teacher then a Digital Marketer.

Harrison Mark is a graduate of SUNY Oswego, where he studied history and political science.

Ibolya has over a decade of editorial experience with both print and online publications and also worked as a translator for a few years. She holds degrees in Communication and Media Management and in Archaeology.

She is a writer and journalist originally from the U.S. Over the past 30 years, she has lived in Russia and Hungary before settling in Poland in 2000.

Joanne is a writer, fiction editor, and proofreader passionate about language and culture, world mythology and folklore, and human-centred marketing. One of her favourite mythological creatures is the makara.

Kelly is a graduate from Monash University who has completed her BA (Honours) in Ancient History and Archaeology, focussing on iconography and status in Pylos burials. She has a passion for mythology and the Aegean Bronze Age.

Kim is a freelance writer based in New Zealand. She has a B.A. (Hons) in History and an M.A. in Chaos & Complexity Science. Her special interests are fables, mythology, and exploration throughout the early modern world.

Liana is the Social Media Editor for Ancient History Encyclopedia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in ancient Greece, Rome & Late Antiquity. She is particularly passionate about Rome and Greece, and anything to do with mythology or women.

Marina works in the courier industry's back office and translates WHE into German on the side. She enjoys reading and learning about all kinds of subjects with a particular interest in languages and our world, past and present.

English and French into Spanish translator. She is very interested in history, especially in Ancient Greece and Egypt. She currently works writing subtitles for online classes and translating texts about history and philosophy, among other things.

Sebastian is a visual designer with a background in translation. He’s been using motion design and video editing as tools for telling stories for several years. In his free time, he likes to give his eyes some rest by making and listening to music.

Simeon is a freelance visual designer with a deep interest in the human side of history. He believes that every image should be an interaction, a commentary, and a narrative, and every map should lead on an exciting journey of exploration and discovery.

Zhihui Zou is affiliated with Duke University. His research mainly covers American history, the American West, and digital humanities. He is currently World History Encyclopedia's book review editor.
